Day 8: Armadillo Christmas Bazaar with Del Castillo Trio

The Del Castillo Trio, made up of brothers Mark and Rick del Castillo, caught Robert Rodriguez’s eye in 2002 with their rich and traditional sound and went on to record soundtracks to multiple movies of his. Their sound is something that makes Texas unique, with a welcoming combination of cultural genres. They originally started their band as a Christmas gift to their family but caught fire and the rest is history.
